You always hear the saying that men prefer blondes. Well, that saying flew out the window with a study conducted by the University of Westminster in the UK and the Scandinavian Journal of Psychology. The study suggests that men view brunettes as being more attractive and intelligent than blondes.
(Hee it’s a good thing that I’m not a blonde then. :lol: That is all Back to the study :D)
The researchers sent a woman to three UK night clubs, sporting either blonde, brunette, or red hair. Researchers then asked 130 men to rate pictures of this woman sporting all three looks. The results??? As a blonde the woman was chatted up the most frequently but was rated higher as a brunette for attractiveness and intelligence. (Ha in your face blondies :P)
These results seem to support a survey conducted by Badoo in 2011, which revealed that men (at least the ones from Britain) prefer brunettes to blondes.
